Giraffe 1X

The Giraffe 1X is an X-band 3D short-range battlefield radar primarily designed for ground-based air defense (GBAD) operations, with an instrumented range of 75 km and a scan rate of 60 hits per minute. It also provides a sense and warn capability against mortars and rockets. This compact and lightweight system is easily integrated into various mobile platforms, fixed structures, or command and control (C²) systems, and is notable for its ability to detect ultra-low-flying targets in challenging terrain, such as valleys. The Giraffe 1X offers early warning against rockets, mortars, drones, missiles, and asymmetric threats, and can be operated by a single user.
