Description

The VGM-93.9 Russian Projected Grenade is a grenade-launcher-fired, projected grenade with a high-explosive fragmentation (HE-Frag) warhead, launched from the Russian magazine-fed grenade launcher GM-94.

Note #1 The VGM93.900 fragmentation round is designed to destruct manpower in open areas or inside rooms and destroying light barriers (doors, interior partitions) when fired from the 43mm GM-94 magazine grenade launcher. The grenade engages unsheltered manpower through fragmentation.
Note #2 Initially intended for law enforcement use against heavily armed criminals and non-state combatants operating in urban environments, it later evolved into a more versatile military weapon which is currently in service with Russian military units.
