Description
The Trassa-1 is a mobile, solid-state secondary surveillance radar featuring a Large Vertical Aperture (LVA) antenna. It is designed for compatibility with both the Mark XII (Mk XII) radar identification system, which operates in the L-band, and the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Radar Beacon System (RBS) used in some former Soviet Union countries, which operates in the UHF band. The system has an instrumented range of 360 km and an accuracy of 100 m.
