Description
The RPG-7V2 portable anti-tank grenade launcher is designed to counter tanks, self-propelled artillery systems, and other armored vehicles (including those protected by ERA), and defeat enemy manpower located both in light shelters and urban and rural type structures. The RPG-7V2 is completed with: *PGO-7V3 optical sight; *UP-7V sighting device; *iron sight; *bipod. The grenade launcher fires PG-7V, PG-7VM, PG-7VS, PG-7VL, PG-7VR HEAT rounds, TBG-7V thermobaric rounds and OG-7V fragmentation round. The grenade launcher is simple and reliable in operation and withstands harsh climatic conditions.

2 RPG-7 is light enough to be carried and fired by one person if needed. With a crew of 2, an assistant grenadier normally deploys left of the gunner to protect him from small arms fire. The full set has two bags: one has two grenades, spare parts, tools and accessories. The other has three more grenades.

Note
the RPG-7 can fire a variety of warheads for anti-armor (HEAT, PG-Protivotankovaya Granata) or anti-personnel (HE, OG-Oskolochnaya Granata) purposes, usually fitting with an impact (PIBD) and a 4.5 second fuze. Armor penetration is warhead dependent and ranges from 30 to 60 centimeters of RHA; one warhead, the PG-7VR, is a 'tandem charge' device, used to defeat reactive armor with a single shot.
