The Operator Module (Модуль операторский | МО) is the command and data processing station of the Orion (Иноходец | Inokhodets) MALE UAV ground segment. Built on a standard 20-foot KK-6 container chassis, it houses 4 automated workstations for operators and a complex commander. FUNCTIONS UAV flight control and mission management Flight planning and route programming Payload and weapons control Data processing, storage, and dissemination Real-time target detection with AI-based classification Augmented reality with 3D terrain imagery Multi-drone coordination and inter-UAV interaction Interaction with external information consumers CAPACITY Crew: 2 operators + 1 commander per UAV (3 total) Simultaneous UAV control: 2 (basic) / up to 4 (upgraded) Single-operator multi-UAV mode available with AI assistance Universal GCS: can control non-Kronshtadt UAVs (demonstrated with Orlan-10, ZALA) PHYSICAL Chassis: 20-foot KK-6 container Workstations: 4 automated + commander position Mobility: Truck-transportable The operator's role is high-level mission objective setting — the system automates most flight control including takeoff and landing. Ground control components are produced at the Dubna Machine-Building Plant (ДМЗ им. Н.П. Фёдорова), Moscow Oblast.
