Type Anti-Vehicle Mine
Manufacturer INA
Design It is one of the easiest landmines to recognize due to its unique shape. The landmine was developed to have a higher hit probability while using fewer landmines in any given area. The landmine has a very long body with a ribbed pressure plate covering 70% of its surface.
Explosive Content 8.4 kilograms (19 lb) of RDX/TNT
Pressure Plate The rectangular pressure plate, which covers most of the top surface, incorporates a tube filled with a silicon-based fluid, this leads into the hydraulic fuze in the centre of one side.
Operating Pressure 140 kilograms
Arming Switch It has a black arming switch housing centered on one side, the switch has a "S" and "A" marked on it to indicate safe and armed.
Detection The landmine has a medium/high metal content depending on the add-on fuze used and can be located using metal detectors under most field conditions.
