The air launched Black Sparrow ballistic target provides a flexible, threat representative and affordable to demands of live-fire TBM (tactical ballistic missile) interceptor test and evaluation. US/Israel's Arrow TBM defense system was tested using the simulated Black Sparrow ballistic missile. Black Sparrow features reliable performance, threat-representative fidelity, simple operation and low cost of ownership. The Black Sparrow can be launched from several platforms such as F-15, F-4, F-111 and B-52. Minimal effort is required to integrate Black Sparrow on new platforms.
