Description
The K216 is a NBC (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical) reconnaissance vehicle derived from the K200 tracked chassis. It features a MM-1 mobile mass spectrometer, double wheel detector set, radiation detection unit (AN/VDR-2), purifier, NBC marking system, vehicular weather observing system (VWOS), chemical sampler, chemical alarm system (KM43A1) and a collective NBC protection system with overpressure system. A cupola-mounted 12.7mm machine gun provides additional protection against hostile forces.
