Description
The Swiss Radar Precision Navigator II (PN II) is an X-band naval radar system designed for professional river navigation. Operating at a frequency of 9,410 MHz ±30 MHz, it functions as a multifunctional navigation system, integrating an Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) map view and Inland Automatic Identification System (AIS). The system features a vertically oriented 19-inch flat screen display with a resolution of 1024×1280 pixels. It offers three antenna options with lengths of 6 feet (1800 mm), 7 feet (2100 mm), and 9 feet (2700 mm), providing beamwidths of 0.8°, 1.05°, or 1.2° respectively, and an instrumented range of 64 km.
