Description
The Kashif-2 (Persian: کاشف-2, “Explorer-2”) is an S-band (IEEE designation) or E/F-band (NATO designation) 2D medium-range air surveillance radar with an instrumented range of 200 km, manufactured by IRAN ELECTRONICS INDUSTRIES. It represents an advancement over its predecessor, the Kashif-1, featuring a solid-state transmitter, a lighter antenna, and extended range. For transport, the antenna boom with the horn radiator is positioned onto the container roof, the reflector is hinged backward, and the two side parts are folded down.
