Sea Master 400

The Sea Master 400 (SM 400), domestically known as SMILE radar, is a multifunctional, non-rotating naval radar developed by Thales. Operating in the E/F band with an instrumented range of 250 km, it features four active phased-array faces for simultaneous air surveillance, helicopter control, surface surveillance, and weapon control. This design, which incorporates elements from the APAR and SMART radars, ensures a high update rate, a near-zero false alarm rate, and enhanced detection of challenging littoral targets due to its longer time on target.
