The Vuran 4X4 MPAV (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) is a new combat vehicle developed in Turkey for multiple roles, including patrolling, surveillance, weapon transport, and security operations. It was designed to meet the needs of the Turkish Police as part of a contract with the General Directorate of Security under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. The Vuran MPAV offers a high level of protection against both mine and ballistic threats. Its features include a monocoque armored cabin, armored windows, shock-absorbing seats, a V-shaped underbelly, gun ports, and an emergency exit hatch. As part of a family of multi-purpose armored vehicles, the Vuran 4X4 ensures the safety of its passengers from mines and ballistic attacks. Notable features include front and rear view cameras, an automatic fire extinguishing system, a remote-controlled weapon station, run-flat tire inserts, and a heating and cooling air conditioning system. The BMC Vuran can be equipped with various enhancements such as a remote-controlled automatic weapon station, an automatic fire suppression system, air conditioning, and a run-flat tire system. With its powerful engine, automatic transmission, and independent suspension system, along with compact dimensions, it boasts high mobility. The vehicle can transport up to nine military personnel, including the driver.
