Description
The TRML-4D, manufactured by HENSOLDT AG of Germany, is a G-band medium-range multifunction air defense radar with an instrumented range of 250 km. It is designed for air surveillance, battlefield reconnaissance, counter-rocket, artillery, and mortar (C-RAM) operations, and counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) control. The radar utilizes an active phased array antenna equipped with numerous Gallium-Nitride (GaN) transmitter/receiver modules and employs digital beamforming to generate simultaneous virtual multi-beams.
