Description
The A800 3D is a ground surveillance radar operating in the Ku band (15.7–17.2 GHz) with electronic scanning capabilities, designed for 3D spatial surveillance. It is primarily used to detect small targets in the air, on the ground, and on water surfaces, including commercially available small hobby drones. The radar transmits three distinct, overlapping antenna patterns, enabling it to determine target altitude using the monopulse method. It has an instrumented range of 20 km and an average power output of 4 W, with a mean time between critical failures (MTBCF) of 65,000 hours.
