Nasir Iranian 40mm Grenade Launcher
Nasir

The Nasir Iranian 40mm Grenade Launcher is an Iranian 40mm automatic grenade launcher (AGL) manufactured by Iran's Defense Industries Organization (DIO) under the Armament Industries Group. It is a reverse-engineered copy of the American Mk 19 grenade launcher, adapted for domestic production and export to Iranian-allied forces. The Nasir is a belt-fed automatic grenade launcher designed for medium-range infantry support situations. The weapon fires from an open bolt and can be fed from either side, making it versatile for various mounting configurations. It requires a two-person crew for operation and supports both single-shot and burst firing modes. The Nasir is deployed by Iranian military forces, including the Islamic Republic of Iran Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The weapon serves as a standard automatic grenade launcher within the Iranian ground forces inventory.
