Description

The Leer-2 is a jamming system based on the Lorandit family of electronic warfare systems Tigr armored vehicles and capable of imitating electronic weapon systems and monitoring the electromagnetic environment during combat training. The Leer-2 is designed for developing radio emitters, jamming, and suppressing radio-electronic means including cellular phone systems. In addition, the system can be used as part of field tests to create realistic tactical electronic situations and imitating the operation of various radio-electronic systems. The Leer-2 is based on the 8-ton class Tiger-M 4x4 high mobility tactical armored vehicle. --- COGINT Report Data (7 June 2023, UNCLASSIFIED) --- Bandwidth/Frequencies: Jamming 0.02-2.7 GHz Range: 6–40km Additional Information: • Quasi-simultaneous suppression of 12 sources of radio emission • Continuous reconnaissance and suppression, even when mobile • Mounted on Tigr-M armored vehicle platform 85YA6 TIGR-M MKTK REI PP ‘LEER 2’ 85YA6 Tigr-M MKTK REI PP ‘Leer 2’ system deployed in the field.
