Description

The Arine is a Ku-band low probability of intercept (LPI) battlefield ground surveillance radar manufactured by Indra of Spain. It is designed for the detection of personnel, vehicles, and low-flying platforms such as helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and ultralights, with an instrumented range of 24 km and a range resolution of 50 m. This fully coherent radar incorporates licensed technology from Racal Radar Defence Systems' MSTAR program, utilizing intrapulse modulation and pulse compression with ratios of 1:1, 20:1, or 200:1. Its antenna features a parabolic reflector with an offset horn feed, offering user-selectable linear or circular polarization to adapt to varying weather conditions.
