Description
The LMG rocket mine consists of a rocket, a rocket launching base, an initiation and propellant charge, an MUV fuze, and a tripwire. As the target vehicle acts on the tension wire, the retaining pin on the MUV fuze is withdrawn. The fuze, in turn, sets off the ignition and propellant charge and launches the rocket. Upon impact, the warhead is detonated by means of a secondary percussion base detonating fuze. Additionally this mine can be initiated by an observer utilizing a wire connected to the MUV retaining pin.
